ชะตาชีวิต H.M. Blues

ในที่สุด หลังจากที่นั่งรออยู่ในเตนท์กลางสนามหลวงเกือบชั่วโมงครึ่ง ผมก็เดินตามแถวของผู้คนในชุดดำสนิทสำรวม เข้ามาถึงเขตพระราชฐานชั้นกลาง แล้วตั้งแถวเรียงสี่อยู่ด้านหน้าพระที่นั่งจักรีมหาปราสาท

เจ้าหน้าที่เดินมาบอกว่า ให้พักแถวได้ เพราะเป็นช่วงเวลาพัก ๒๐ นาที

ถ้าเป็นการรอที่อื่น ก็คงรู้สึกหงุดหงิด โทษตัวเองว่าโชคไม่ดี ดันมาตรงกับช่วงพัก ต้องรอนานขึ้น แต่วันนี้ ผมกลับรู้สึกดี ที่ได้มีโอกาสอยู่ที่นั่นนานขึ้น

ถึงท้องจะหิว เพราะไม่ยอมแตะต้องอาหารมากมาย ที่มีอาสาสมัครเข็นรถมาบริการถึงในเตนท์ที่นั่งรอในสนามหลวง เพียงขอแค่น้ำเย็นๆ มาดื่มเพียงแก้วเดียว อดอมยิ้มไม่ได้ เมื่อนึกถึงมุกตลกสารพัดของคนเข็นอาหาร ที่พยายามพูดโน้มน้าวผู้คนที่กำลังนั่งรอออยู่นั้น ให้หันมาสนใจ หันมาเลือกรับอาหารที่ตนเองเข็นมา


ถึงอากาศจะร้อนอบอ้าว แต่กลับรู้สึกเย็นสดชื่นกับน้ำใจของผู้คนที่ไม่เคยรู้จักกันมาก่อนรอบข้าง

เสียงเพลงบทหนึ่งดังขึ้นในห้ว.. ..

นกน้อยคล้อยบินมาเดียวดาย
คิดคิดมิวายกังวลให้หม่นฤทัยหมอง
ขาดมวลมิตรไร้คนสนิทคู่เคียงครอง
หลงไหลหมายปองคนปรานี.. ..


เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์บทนั้น เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์เพลงแรกที่ทรงประพันธ์หลังขึ้นครองราชย์ ซึ่งมีเนื้อร้องภาษาอังกฤษแตกต่างจากเนื้อร้องภาษาไทยอย่างสิ้นเชิง ที่บรรยายถึง นักดนตรีในงานเลี้ยงรื่นเริงที่ต้องทนหิว ในขณะที่ผู้อื่นกำลังอิ่มหนำสำราญ


ผมได้มากราบถวายบังคมพระบรมศพพระมหากษัตริย์นักดนตรีพระองค์นั้น สมความตั้งใจ

After sitting in the waiting tents at Sanam Luang or the Royal Ground for about an hour and a half, I follow the rows of people in totally black walking in silence to the Middle Court of the Grand Palace. We then line up in 4 columns in front of Chakrimahaprasat Throne Hall.

The officer comes to tell us to be at ease "It will be 20 minutes intermission".

If I'm waiting somewhere else, I would feel irritated, how unluckily I am, have to wait longer. But today I feel so good, have a chance to stay longer.

Although I feel hungry for not touching any foods, free 'meals on wheels' served at the tents in Sanam Laung, just ask for a plain cold water to drink.

A smile is on my face when recalling the joke made by the volunteers who try to persuade us to take their served foods.

Besides the hot weather, I feel cool and fresh with the generosity of people who have never known each other before.

The song composed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, it was the first song he composed after he ascended the throne. The English lyrics were different from the Thai lyrics that described the hungry musicians in a festive feast, while others were enjoying their meals.


I have come to pay my homage to the late King, the Great musician.

นาม เนม นาแม ..คำที่หมายถึงชื่อสำหรับใช้เรียกกันคำนี้ พ้องเสียงกันในหลายภาษา ทั้งไทย อังกฤษ เมียนมา และมลายู แต่ชื่อที่เรียกของสิ่งเดียวกัน กลับต่างกัน

แผ่นดินที่อยู่ใต้สุดของประเทศเมียนมามีชื่อเรียกต่างกัน คนไทยเรียกเกาะสอง เมียนมาเรียกเกาะตอง์ ซึ่งน่าจะมีที่มาเดียวกัน แต่สมัยที่อังกฤษปกครองพม่ากลับเรียกที่นี่ต่างไปว่าวิกตอเรียพอยต์ หมายถึงสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าวิคตอเรีย พระราชินีนาถของเครือจักรภพที่ยิ่งใหญ่สมัยนั้น ปัจจุบันผืนดินที่อยู่ใต้สุดของเมียนมาเป็นสิ่งก่อสร้างรูปสามเหลี่ยมเล็กๆ ยื่นออกไปในผืนน้ำ ด้วยภูมิทัศน์ที่เชื่อมโยงกับสวนสาธารณะบนเนินเขาที่อยู่ถัดเข้ามา แปลตามภาษาเมียนมาเรียกว่า แหลมบุเรงนอง หมายถึงพระเจ้าบุเรงนอง ผู้ชนะสิบทิศ

Name ..word by which a person or place is known or spoken to, this word itself is pronounced similarly in many languages included Thai, English, Myanmar and Malay. But we name the same thing or place differently.

The southernmost mainland of Myanmar is called Koh Song or Second Island in Thai and Kaw Thaung in Myanmar with the same origin. But during the British colonial period, this place was called Victoria Point to refer to Queen Victoria, Queen of the Commonwealth at that time. Nowadays, the real southernmost tip of land is a small triangular structure built into the sea, linked with the park landscape on the nearby hill, it is Bayinnaung Point or Bayinnaung Cape in Myanmar to refer to the great king.
